launches dedicated Summer School website

Concord has launched its own dedicated website for the college’s Summer School – which has been running for over forty years. 

The website, designed by Concord’s Summer School team in collaboration with Welland Creative, will enable prospective students to access Summer School-specific information, updates on exciting programmes, photo galleries, news, booking forms and more. 

The site, which has been five months in the making, is also readable in no less than 11 languages, to tailor to Concord’s international student market, as well as local students who want to enjoy ‘the Concord experience’.  

In 2019, Concord had a record 43 different nationalities studying at the college’s Summer School. 

Said Mrs Kari Quant, Director of Summer School, with 18 years of Summer School experience at Concord: “There is always something special about studying at Concord; as well as new knowledge, students benefit from international friendships, as well as a new-found confidence and independence not always achievable in large cities or towns.” 

“I hope this new website will make it easier for students, parents and agents to find information about the summer courses and provide advice & guidance they need to create their ideal course and tailored timetable.” 

Only last year did Concord’s Summer School win a Quality English Digital Award – an accolade awarded for ‘innovation in the online school’ after Covid-19 consequently led to the launch of a new remote programme, Concord Summer Online 2020.  

It is hoped that the new website will serve as a showcase of the Summer School’s excellence and history, as well as on-site programmes combined with more-recent digital versatility.  

Mrs Quant added: “Not just for current students and parents, our new website coupled with our growing alumni network, will enable former students to find friends from yesteryear and share special Concord summer memories.”
