General

Study Courses

Summer School students will have the choice of one General Study course as follows:

English:

This course aims to improve English skills and covers general English speaking, reading, writing and listening.

Science:

This course covers Biology, Chemistry and Physics and is practical-based, putting classroom theory to the test.

A minimum English language level of B1 would be expected to join General Study Science courses.

Total teaching hours: 23 hours for students aged 11-12 years and 21 hours for students aged 13-16 years

Maximum class size: 12 for students aged 11-12 years and 15 for students aged 13-16 years

Students will be asked to complete a test on arrival at Concord College on either 30 June (Session 1) or 21 July (Session 2) to assess their level of English.
