Ventures – unlocking your entrepreneurial skills (NEW to 2025)
This course is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs who are keen to understand the world of business and explore the skills and what it takes to start-up a successful business. Using their new skills and tools students will develop their own small enterprise and create a business pitch for potential investors.
– Introduction to business development and strategy, including marketing, finance, operations and management.
– Work in groups to develop a business plan and product.
– Pitch ideas to the class to convince them to invest in the proposed business idea.
This is an interactive course that encourages students to work in groups, apply their creativity whilst developing speaking and communication skills. Students will also experience an accompanying educational trip.
