The scheme checks and improves the standards of providers’ teaching, management, facilities and welfare provision. It is administered by English UK and the British Council. Choosing an accredited centre means you are certain of high-quality learning, value for money and the best investment for your future. Schools are regularly visited by experienced and independent inspectors and only those that meet the high standards of the Scheme are accredited.

They are not part of a chain and each school has its own unique character. Quality Education colleges are carefully selected from the best independent colleges offering academic and vocational courses which are taught in English. They offer exceptional service, unique character and a choice of courses. They must be independent and accredited. Quality English check feedback from students and agents to make sure that students are happy with their courses and they take quality control very seriously and regularly monitor the quality of all their English language schools through student feedback, agent references and accreditation results. These must be of an excellent and consistent standard.

EL Gazette is an international news and media company for the English Language Teaching (ELT) industry and international English-medium education. They run regular features and listings of courses available in a particular sector. This includes language schools that have been awarded EL Gazette Centre of Excellence status. These awards are based on the information found in the British Council Inspection reports on the language centres which the British Council accredits under the Accreditation UK scheme. The rankings are compiled by the EL Gazette and are not produced by the British Council, English UK or Accreditation UK.
Trinity College London are an international exam board for English Language. Concord is a registered exam centre for the Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE). The GESE exams are intended for candidates who have learnt English as a foreign, second or additional language.
