– Full Immersion: Join a diverse community of international students from various backgrounds, which will help students to learn English quickly and naturally.

– Project-Based Learning: Break away from routine classroom settings. Students will engage in project-based learning that challenges them to apply language skills to authentic tasks.

– Comprehensive Approach: Learner-centered methodology which emphasises guided discovery, independent learning, and enhances communication skills. Students will develop language skills while building meaningful connections with others.

– Tangible Outcomes: Each project has a specific, tangible result. Students will see the outcomes of their efforts, boosting motivation and confidence.

– Balancing Fluency and Accuracy: Course content that strikes a balance between fluency and accuracy, ensuring students develop both essential language skills

The English Language course consists of three project blocks. Each block will contain two General English classes and one Project class:

– General English Classes: These classes provide essential language practice, equipping students with the skills needed to complete a specified project.

– Project Class: Applying what has been learnt in the General English classes to real-world themes. Topics may include the environment, technology, music and culture, sports and entertainment, fashion, shopping and the world of money.

The teaching and learning approach is learner-centered and communicative, encouraging active participation, collaboration, and guided exploration. By the end of the course, students will:

– Develop all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening)

– Enhance accuracy and fluency

– Improve research and presentation abilities

– Cultivate teamwork and interpersonal relations

– Have greater confidence when communicating in English
